In 2009, we discovered that 2 of our (then) 3 children had Sensory Processing Disorder, something we had barely heard of.  In the months that followed we learned all about this different way of viewing the world, battled doctors and therapists for diagnosis and therapy, the schools for assistance,  and teachers and family friends for understanding.  It’s been a learning journey, to say the least; an adventure full of frustration and exhaustion, but also joy and wonder and new ideas!  I have recently felt called to share these adventures with others, to help them understand the world these children live in, and share the burden of the rough days along with the joy in the fun days.
